Hi I am presently using Ilford VC Fiber Based glossy Double Weight paper. Its great stuff! But----------------------------- Is there a paper that has a Whiter "White" I was told the old Brilliant paper imported by Zone VI studios was incredible but now its no longer manufactured. Do any of you have some suggestions? Thank you! Dave

I already use Ilford Cold tone paper. I will investigate the other papers mentioned. Thanks!

The problem is the "White" paper for my upcoming book is Whiter then the Photographic paper I use in the darkroom.

You may be hard-pressed to find a whiter paper base than the Ilford product. As far as I know, there is only one company left making a neutral white baryta paper base for photo papers and that's the one used for Ilford cold tone and Adox MC-110, etc.

I don't think photo papers of the past had a whiter base anyway, if that helps.

Best,

Doremus
