A while back I purchased a 50 pack of 16x20" Adorama's house Fiber Based paper. I bought it because I wanted some paper for large prints and it was the cheapest option by far. I initially wasn't impressed with it as it had some stains of a few of the sheets and I was still learning how to make darkroom prints. However, once I worked through the initial problems I have made some of my favorite images on this paper. I like the air dried finish and the lower shadow values print in well. The paper tones exactly how I want it to in selenium, turning a cool/neutral black and enhancing blacks. Fully toning in selenium I think brings out the best of this paper and it complements a lot of my night shots very well.
I think Adorama discontinued the paper before I bought my pack of it (just happened to have some 16x20" left). I imagine this is likely something rebranded from another manufacturer. Does anyone know what is the closest option to this paper? For neutral tone papers I've tried Fomabrom, but that turns a different colour in selenium and I don't think the shadow separation is as good.
