Paper internegatives

Anybody using this process? I'm thinking of stepping into it tonight for a few images that I think would work really well with this technique. Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

Not yet, or better, not exactly. I've done something similar: I've made some experiment vith an internegative produced from a scanned immage. I.e. scanning, digital processing, tone inversion and left/right mirroring. Could sound weird, but I believe it's the only way to obtain a durable digital B&W print.
That's what I've learned from the experiment:
Contrast can be really tricky, so it's probably wiser to produce a soft internegative;
to obtain the eventual positive immage you're going to contact print the negative, light filtering from the edge of the paper negative produces a vignetting effect that must be taken into account.

I'm really interested in knowing the results of your test.
