Hello,

Please, advise developing time, dilution (common practice 1+1+100), agitation and temperature for Ilford Pan F (EI 50) or/and Ilford Delta 3200 in Pyrocat HD. So ... Can't find reliable information  Thanks for answers.

But in a much more recent thread he says
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)
"I have very limited experience with Pan F. However, I think 10-12 minutes at 70F in a tank with intermittent agitation, using the 1:1:100 dilution, should give good negatives.

Sandy King"

So it would be good if someone with more recent experience chimed in. Isn't 12 minutes the recommended time for HP5+? Can't be the same for Pan F...

Some rather loose notes of mine from an interrupted shakedown a few years back had me at EI 32, 14 minutes 1:1:100 with 1 minute of very gentle inversions followed by 90 second intermittent gentle inversions. This seemed to add to the compensating effect and made the negatives easier to print with my equipment. I have a large supply accumulated of this film (kind of by accident) in various formats and never seem to have applications to really wring it out. It can go contrasty quite easily with some developers, in my experience.

That about jives with my recollection of using it. I'd have to dig through my notes when I get home to see exactly what I did with it, but I did shoot a bunch of it and ran it in Pyrocat HD (my go-to developer for just about anything).
