About a month ago on e-bay there were two auctions by the same seller, one for 4 100ft rolls and the other for 3 50ft rolls.
I bought the 4 100ft rolls but when they arrived today I got 1 100ft roll and 3 50ft rolls.
So someone got my 3 100ft rolls instead of 3 50ft rolls.
So far the seller has not returned my e-mail.

Perhaps check the seller's feedback and see if someone left a positive saying something like "Great Seller!!! Sent me twice as much film as I thought I bought!!!" It might take the seller awhile to know exactly what to say to you in response to your email. I hope it works out for you. At least perhaps you can get back the value of 150ft.

In a perfect world you'll receive your film, the other dude will receive his and seller loses out a bit on additional fees
Less than perfect world the other dude will believe he IS in the perfect world, seller will believe he's in hell the butt of some cruel joke having to eat the cost of your missing film sending you a 50% refund leaving you feeling pretty satisfied with the whole deal
Less than less than perfect world the other dude is still in paradise, seller is completely happy with the transaction and you'll still be stuck in hell with some of the most of expensive Panatomic-X film ever sold
But you still got apug.org

I believe this fellow is genuine. He was selling some film items such as Ektapan etc and his feedback (including at least one upstanding Apugger I recognise) is fine.
Oh and by the way it was already the most expensive Panatomic-x ever sold before this schemozzle. But at 65 yrs 250ft of FX will probably squeak me through

I hope all turns out well for you. I once sent two people the wrong items from an ebay auction (never sell more than one item at a time if you're working with my brain cells) and had to email both parties, explain that I did a flip-flop on them and have UPS pick them up and then send out the right item to the right party. Oh man, did I feel stupid. But, it was an honest mistake as I hope this is.

Yes I just had a nice reply from the guy, as you say a brain cell problem and a refund etc all amicable

But I wanted film

Pan-X does pop up on ebay from time to time as people clean out freezers, desk drawers, etc. You shouldn't have to wait too long.

But wouldn't it be nice to have all our old products available again right down the street at the local camera store or even the local pharmacy who could order thru Kodak?

Hey, who knows? You may get a very honest person who will return the 100' rolls because of the mistake and then the seller will send them to you.

Am I dreaming???

Not dreaming. The other purchaser has offered to swap rolls. Unusual goodwill in this day and age
