Paillard Bolex B-8L Double-Run 8mm Movie Camera Outfit
25ft daylight loading spools of double-run 8mm film. When a roll runs through the camera, only half the width of film is exposed. The spool is then reversed and run through again, exposing the other half. When processed, film is split and spliced together giving 50' for projection. Projection time at 16 fps for 25' roll is 4 minutes.
Released in 1958. It has an Exposure Meter, but it doesn't appear to function. I removed the cover to it and applied some QD Contact Cleaner, without success. So, you'll have to estimate the aperture setting. Download an exposure app to your phone, which should be accurate enough for this camera.
Includes the YVAR 13mm/f1.9 lens. Glass is clean and clear. Aperture and focus are a bit stiff.
Original leather case, detachable handle, documentation, shutter release cable, and 3 rolls of expired film (2 in unopened boxes, one in the camera, which has been exposed to light).
