I'm considering entering a print in the Kentmere photography competition (closing date May 31), however, one thing I am not sure about is how to package the print. I suppose I could send it in one of those cardboard tubes rolled up, but I am not sure about how curled up it might get by the time it was looked at.

I'll be using Kentmere Fineprint which is a Fibre Base paper.

Is anyone else considering entering the competition, and if you are, what are your thoughts on appropriate packaging?

Thanks,

Tom.

I think they would prefer a flat print Tom. They will have too many to want tohave to flatten them. Sandwich your print between two sheets of card, and wrap it in brown paper.

Does anyone have a link to the competition?

Sorry, didn't see your message.

To find out more about the competition go to: www.kentmere.co.uk and click on Competition. You should be able to see some examples of the previous year and download the PDF entry form with rules. e.g. prints should be unmounted and for some strange reason on 12x16 paper which is standard size here in the UK but I'm not sure if it is anywhere else.

The closing date is May 31, 2006.

Tom.
