As a user of fiber based papers, I am well aware of the dangers of over-fixing. However, as a guy with limited sink space, I often find that a print may spend a long time in the last tray, the Hypo-clear tray. Does anyone know the dangers of over-hypo-clear? I use Kodak HC at 1:4 and follow this with at least an hour in a vertical wash unit. I have not noted any stains or problems with my prints, but wonder if chemically I have overlooked a problem.

Why not just use plain water in that last tray and do the bath in hypo clear later?
