received an e-mail from Orwo North America today that they are transferring consumer sales of their B&W movie film to colorlab in MD. No web site updates at either place yet....

But there is a new website added at Dead Link Removed

I handle about 100 to 150K feet of the PF2 and DP31 each month, as well as about 60 to 80K feet of the DN21, and find it to be very good film stock. A bit more contrasty than Kodak's similar stocks, but once you adjust to and for that, it makes some mighty fine motion picture prints, interpositives and dupe negs.

All of our show prints are now made on ORWO and, if I don't say so myself, they look pretty darned good! (It's a good film noir stock!)

Of course these are lab stocks, but I would assume an equal quality in their camera negative stocks.
