I am enthusiast who uses the old Canon AE1 and A1 cameras. I love them and am happy with the fact that I can get some really good glass at cheap prices because of the old Fd system.
However, I want to upgrade. I want to know how people like the Elan 7/7e cameras. I hear different things about the 7e's eye control system. Some love it, others don't.
As a matter of choice, taste and tradition, I'm sticking with Canon. I just curious about the Elans. Also I heard that Canon accepts grey market warranties, too. If so, where would be a good place to buy and Elan on the net?
