**Open to all photographers who have not had a contract with a commercial gallery**
Each year ONWARD invites a renowned photographer to jury this international competition, selecting 56 finalists and ultimately two grand prize winners from among hundreds of talented emerging photographers. All finalists’ work is included in a group show that opens at Summit, ONWARD’s photography festival held each year at Project Basho in Philadelphia. Grand prize and popular vote winners receive cash awards.
