My darkroom workshops now cover scene analysis, negative processing, analysis of a given negative - both from an esthetic point of view as well as from a technical point of view using a Macbeth densitometer.

However, the most important part of the workshop concentrates on how to make "the fine print" in a creative manner!

You will learn how to take your processed negative and expose / process / and finalize a print that will be the very best you can extrapolate from that negative.

Each darkroom workshop can be designed to include what you feel is most important for you to learn.

The following are the only dates available for a darkroom workshop during 2008:

Saturday November 8

November 15

November 22.

Email me to sign up or for more details.

I shoot both 6x6 and 35. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend any workshops this year because I just don't have the budget for any right now. But at the beginning of next year, I expect to have enough money saved up to be able to attend one of these. So, I'd be delighted if you kept us updated with next year's schedule. Thanks a lot!
