The one made in Singapore. I first noticed that things seemed off when it ran down a battery. I initially thought the battery was just old and on its last legs. So I put a brand new one in. W/in one roll it was drained! And got the film back and half the shots the shutter didn't open. Wa waaaaaaa....

Well, 1 down two left! Anyone want a broken A110 to play with?

Condolences; I had a similar failure in one of my L35AFs exhibited by battery drain (and heat!) associated with some part of the film auto-advance / motor.

Not my bag, as I'm trying to get out of the camera slaying business, but there's a few photos of A110 guts here for those so inclined: https://christopherstoll.org/cameras/1976-rollei-a110.html

An infrared/FLIR camera can be very useful in locating the failed component(s) in a case like this as you can pinpoint where the voltage from the battery is being converted to heat.

I feel bad Huss, I think my Canon 110ED stole the life force from your Rollei A110. My Canon died while I was shooting my little test last week (like it has in the past, never have been able to figure out why), and then it sprang back to life tonight. Weirdest camera I've ever owned. But I fear it may have stolen the life from your A110.

Best,
-Tim
