Can you stack the smaller ones in the big ones?
Anyway if you'd need to get rid of some I could give a good home to the 5x7...

Just found this nice "collection virus" thread.
Hope our infected fellow member didn't miss out on the below offerings from an auction past summer. Apart from camera's it even contained original tools and work tables from the Gandolfis!

 
Some beauties there. I keep meaning to buy the gandoldi dvd but then i fear GAS. Id love a gandolfi and a cooke but im staying out of mischief with a walker and a fujinon.

It's more common to see black painted Gandolfi tripods, and some are un-badged, or have other names on them like Sands Hunter, or watson. This is mine with my 12x10 camera before I cleaned it up and removed the mould repaired the bellows.

They do look nicer unpainted

I do wish Emil (the OP) was still here on APUG/Photrio.
 
For those of you who don't follow LFPF, Emil is still active there. He recently reported that he fell on hard times and has had to sell all of his equipment. Join me in wishing him well and better circumstances.
 
Indeed seems to have been active there today, and was last seen here in 2014....his homepage also seems to be taken from the air...(btw I don't know him in person)

I try not to be a collector, but for a while, I had a thing for Perrin leather bags like the one on the stool in the photo, and I accumulated quite a few of them in nice condition. They were premium photo bags in their day and look like what Billingham aspires to be, but don’t seem to be well remembered, so they don’t sell for much on eBay. Also, since the leather has aged, they are prone to straps breaking, but they’re nice enough to be worth maintaining.
 

Thanks David, didn't know about these bags - and indeed they seem low priced at internet sales (...but seem only offered in the USA).

Absolutely - I miss him and wish him well. If you can pass that on to him that would be wonderful.
 
I sold Perrin bags at retail back in the mid 50s to early 60s.
I currently sell Billingham bags which are much more practical and are waterproof.

Billingham bags are definitely more practical with their modern divider systems, and they are beautiful and well made, but their style harkens back to an earlier time.
