Hi all, we've been onwander to Co Donegal. It was a great weekend with plenty to point a camera at.
We stayed in a Hotel near Glencolumbkille, at a hotel called Aras Gleann Cholm Cille. It wasn't bad at all. A bit tired but clean and functional. It cost 100 yoyos for two of us plus 3 dogs for 2 nights self catering. I think breky was 4 yoyos for cereal etc and 6 for a fry. Or take your own for free and use the kitchen. A little tired but clean and functional and easy going. Dining out wasn't on the fine dinning list. But we didnt look that hard for eatery's in all honesty. Due to the remoteness of the area we did drive around a lot to make the most of the stay. So dinner was a bit late, and from the burger van in the village. Place your order (fish and chips are outstanding) wander across the road to the pub and he will deliver when ready. The pub is family owned so eat away with a pint.
I intend to have a couple of weekends up there again having had a look at whats about to photograph. I would also say its a great venue for a weekend meet
