I've left a few messages (phone and email) at ArtCraft about an on-line order place 8/13/07 but have yet to hear back.

Has anyone recently placed an on-line order at ArtCraft and what is the turn-around for filling the order?

(Just anxious to get my stuff:D )

I've always gotten orders from them in less than a week.
 
I've ordered, waited a week and a half then called and he hadn't even started processing the order yet... He did get it to me and everything was fine. I think the bottom lines is, he's a one man show and can be inconsistent with delivery times but does come through in the end.
 
Never mind! I have been spoiled by the likes of Digi-Key and Mouser for on-line parts ordering!

I like fooling around with analog photography and "old" processes because it requires patience and forces me to slow down. I should practice what I preach! :smile:

i just order something from them the other day and had to send an email regarding the address.
received a reply this am.

i have found that in the past i receive my orders in a timely fashion.
 
I always call Mike and skip the online order. I've never had to wait more than a few days for any delivery from him and have never once had a problem.

One thing I did notice is that the receipt their on-line shopping cart printed didn't show my address right. I swear I typed in my street address but in that field it just showed my name again... Could have been operator error or could be a bug in the form. One is easier to fix than the other, guess which!

That and I found the phone number on the bottom of the receipt was wrong. A 6 instead of an 8 or vice versa. The numbers listed on the home page are correct though.

Anyway, it's all good. I think in the future I'll use the on-line to check price and figure the order but just fax or phone it in. Thanks again Mike! :D
 
I have nothing but the finest things to say about Artcraft. One time I left an internet order with the wrong CC#. Mike shipped the order (I live about 1hour from there and have bought before) and left a message on my phone machine to call him back with the right #. That's service!

I think it is a one-person deal and when orders come in from all over the US, if not the world, mistakes will happen.

I've made it a rule: Always CALL Mike at Artcraft, never order via Internet. You won't have the least bit of trouble if you do this.
