Being retired is a full time job. I don't know how I had the time to get everythng done and work at a job, too. I suggest you take things slow and easy. There will be plenty to do. I've been putting off fixing my 2 1/4 by 3 1/4 and 4x5 FrankenGraphics, putting them together with spare parts I picked up here and then. But I started on the smaller one today. I need to develop a roll of 120 I found in a Rollieflex that I just picked up at an outdoor antiques market for a song and I need to yada, yada, yada....

For the last year and a half I have been living separately from my Hasselblads. I have been separated from my darkroom for almost five years and used the one at Glen Echo.
I cannot wait to use the Speed Graphic as my grandson runs around.

Hey, good news and congratulations on your upcoming well earned retirement. I've been on mine for 8 years already. Man, does time fly by when your not tied to the wheel any longer. Good luck in your adventure going forward.
Good luck and good health to you. My wife and I just retired last summer. It's hard not having a schedule. What do you guys do to fill it?
Whatever I danged well choose to do. If I didn't still have a teenager in the house I could sleep in(but a life time of getting up for work at 5am precludes that). Actually, I have an ongoing list of things that I eventually get to when the spirit moves me.

I'm so busy all the time I'm not sure how I ever fitted my old job that was almost a 7/24/365 gig into my life. I guess most of my waking hours are spent doing photography in the field, processing images, and or on line site stuff.
My wife has a horse and is taking care of it and riding all the time. We've also been keeping an eye on aging parents even though they're in care facilities.
So, truthfully, no spare time at all.
Congratulations, Steve, and when you arrive I'll be here to greet you with open arms. You 'll have to wait until I get off work though. A few more years to retirement for me. In the meantime I'll settle with being slightly jealous.
