I recently got an Omega Simtron II to try out as a darkroom enlarging meter. It was cheap enough that if it isn't that great for b/w exposure, I can always use it as a color analyzer if/when I want to do some RA-4 printing. I want to confirm the overall operation for b/w use - place the probe on the baseboard, select the lens with no filter, and take a reading, turning the dial until it points to the amount of time you need to use, or adjust the aperture until the currently selected time is correct? Would anyone have a copy of the owners manual in PDF format, or a hard copy they'd be willing to scan? I would greatly appreciate it. Also, any feedback from current/past users on their overall satisfaction with the device would be equally appreciated.

Some generic color analyzer information with respect to using an analyzer for B&W.
