I just got back so I could check my 50mm EL Nikkor in a threaded mount on a D5 lens board. I don't usually use that lens, so I wasn't sure. Clears fine. If your lenses are somehow deeper, you could always use a second, larger-opening plate stacked between the threaded on and the lens board to give more clearance. You might have to use longer screws.

Thanks Pieter, Gord just got back to me and has the exact rings I was looking for. I have to say though, everyone really came through and had me approaching the problem with new solutions so I really do appreciate everyone who replied.

When buying in the USA from KHB always remember, their prices are Canadian dollars (as are their shipping costs) and the exchange rate is very favorable these days. I find it often times cheaper to buy from them than to source in the USA.
