Omega D2 questions

Hello,

I have an Omega D2 that is set off for making prints from 35 mm film. I'd like to use it to make prints from 120 film. I have the film carrier but from what I've read it looks like I'll need an 80 mm lens for 120 film.

From what I've read it looks like I'll need a lens cone to mount the lens, I'm wondering what size opening it needs to be?

It looks like there are some different heights of lens cones out there what height is recommended?

I have five 80mm lenses and most are 39mm diameter thread, but I have an 80mm with a 25mm thread. I'm sure there are 80mm lenses with other threads too. I believe the 80mm can focus ok on the flat mount without a cone.

I have a push up DII (the older version of your enlarger). I use a 80mm lens for 35mm negs and 100mm for 120 negs. Neither requires a cone. The only cone I use is for the 150mm lens I used for 9x12 and 4x5 negs.

You don't need a cone. You should look for a spare mounting plate, though. You might even find a mounting plate with an 80 or 90 mm lens on it. Keep in mind that it's not an 80 for 120 film, specifically, but really for only up to 6x7. If you want to enlarge 6x9, you should have a something longer.
