I picked up this head for less then the cost of the bulb. I intend to use it to upgrade a B66. Omega sells an adapter. Will I be able to use the B66 neg holders after the upgrade? Is the adapter just a plate? The head I got came with a big plate that I guess is needed for a different enlarger. It sure doesn't fit the B66 with the plate mounted.

The yellow knob spins a bit past the point it should. Actually spins all the way around. But it does turn the filters. Any idea how easy/hard it would be to fix this. Of course it's not the cyan knob that's not working.

Usually dichro filters are held in place on a shaft simply using set screws.
Could be allen head or slotted. Since the values are arbitrary, I'd just find a zero point where the filter is just out of the light path & set that for zero.

Thanks. I'll see if I've got time this weekend to look at it. No rush I still don't have the mounting hardware.
