Hi All

Does anybody know where I could get my hands on a Filter Drawer for an Omega C700 enlarger? I've just purchased this as my first enlarger and only realized when I returned home that it was missing (see att).

It says Ilford but it is exactly the same as the Omega C700.. I'm guessing it was a simple rebrand

Any help/advice appreciated

Thanks!

They're not real sophisticated & I'm sure you could rig something up.
Some aluminum angle, & a sheet alum. for the bottom & front. Put it together with JB Weld
& off you go.
'The other option would be to cover the slot & use below the lens filters.

Just cover over where the filter drawer is missing, and get a set of under lens filters. They would probably cost less than a replacement drawer.

Yeah, I meant to warn you about that.
You can find a used C700 or C760 for next to nothing.

Hi Ryka,

My old Meoptas never had filter drawers so I used my Agfa Multigrade filters under the lens - worked perfectly. I was just extra careful not to get scratches on them and treated them with care. These filters were designed to be used both above and below the lens, which I'm pretty sure the Ilford ones are too.

Good luck!
