Picked up a 5x7 Omega in good shape. The lens is a scratched 190 W Raptar, of which I happen to have a perf twin I've been lugging around since the late 60's. Since enl lenses are available at reasonable cost, would it be worth looking for something better or will I find this a good user when its finally set up?

I believe it's an E4 also, no model # on the head but it has reference on the column to "E3-E4".... The artist I bought it from is looking for the manual he thinks he has..."somewhere" .... He thinks it's an E4 .. Pretty complete, all in all, condensers, carriers with and without glass, 50 to 190 lenses, cold light unit, blah,blah.... All I need to do is "carve out" some space. I have a small bldg with my instrument making shop in it, but there is no controlling the dust.Have everything else, Leitz Valloy ll, & 1C plus my fathers D2, 7ft sink many trays and tanks, bottles and lights, etc. Can't wait... sounds like fun!

the easy way to tell the difference between the E3 and E4 is
the E3 has a square light head and the light source stays on all the time.
there is a shuttered lens to make the exposure.
