I'll give it to you straight. This is not a camera from my personal collection. It is a donation for this fundraiser that I have never used. Cosmetics: looks like your typical tourist XA from the front. From the back, there is noticeable paint wear on the body, but the flash looks good. All functions are great. RF is right on, shutter is right on, flash works, advance is smooth, everything is characteristically snickety-snick. Optically: just feast your eyes on that sapphire of a front element. In a word, none better. Now, turn your attention to the rear element. In a word, many better. The fickle fingers of fungus are readily apparent at the periphery. See the snaps under different lighting conditions; they convey the general idea.

Why buy? Because 100% of the price, including shipping, will go to a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit community radio station, WCUW broadcasting at 91.3 FM in Worcester, MA and streaming on the WWW at http://wcuw.org/. Buyer pays only actual shipping, which will be modest. Thank you and enjoy!!
Jon

Looks like that baffle will require getting at it from the front. Not an easy looking job. However, the fungus kinda looks like it's on the outer rear surface. Is it, Jon? Does it look like it could be cleaned off without any disassembly?

In the end, it might not affect images that much if someone wanted to just leave it. Or at least cook it in UV to prevent any more spreading.
