I recently saw a 50mm f/2.8 Olympus AF lens on the auction site and bought it for just over $15. It's in nice shape. I didn't have a camera to try it on so I got an OM-88, also for just over $15. Both the lens and the camera are working properly. I thought about an OM-77 but most of those have damaged battery chambers and battery covers. For this reason I am interested in getting the Manual Adapter 2. From the photos I have seen, the adapter wraps around the side of the camera. Does the adapter have to be removed each time film is loaded or removed?
