I don't know what you mean by an "OM-40.5 adapter" but assume you are referencing the 49mm "small" filter ring size of OM lenses. If you are just looking for a step down ring, try the Evil Auction Site. I have good luck there for odd size rings, including the half millimeter steps.

Why are you looking for this step down ring? Do you have piles of 40.5mm filters that you are aching to use on OM lenses? Perhaps you mean a step up ring?

Why are you looking for this step down ring?

I want to reverse mount an enlarger lens (40.5mm filter thread) onto some OM-mount extension tubes. I already have an OM-49mm reverse adapter, so I either step down from that to 40.5 or find an OM-40.5 adapter, i.e., internal OM-mount on one side, and external 40.5mm threads on the other.

Thanks for the links, Digger. I'll certainly keep them in mind if nothing else materializes, but with currency conversion, shipping, and duties added in, I have to keep looking for better value.

I have gone through the same issues finding things to fit. There is almost always a way to find what your looking for. The search terms are key. Try macro reversing ring. Also some times I've resorted to using multiple adapters to get what I need. What usually happens is I order something, then find exactly what I needed about a day later. I have had good results with the cheap rise(UK) brand stuff from china.

I have had good success with step up and step down rings on Amazon.ca.
They come from China, and can be slow, but they do arrive, and are inexpensive.
