Anything out there that matches its size and performance?
I have one (had since new) and it's finally starting to show some wear. Light leaks around the lens.

I wont buy another one as they are overpriced and all getting to be old and worn.
But I'd like something close to what it can do, and a bit more durable.

If there's nothing out there I guess I'll just go digital for P&S.
Or just start carrying my 120 folders more, but that's not the same thing of course..

TIA

Sureshot 130u.

It has a zoom lens however it is fast to respond. I've found a shortcoming in many point and shoots is lag from when you hit the shutter until the photo is taken.

I have a box full of 35mm AF point and shoots along with a few scale focus, the Petri CC comes to mind, compact, scale focus very good 40mm 2.8 lens, all mechanical shutter, battery needed for light meter, only draw back is the battery compartment is in the body of the camera, if battery fails you need to use a changing bag or rewind the film. Not to be confused with Color CC ee, electronic shutter. In the next size up there are many, Pentax IQ WR, Konica Z ups, first generation AF with fixed lens, a few with 35 most with 38 or 40 2.8 or 3.5.

I have a couple original Stylus that I never use if you are interested. There are a lot of point and shoots of course, but for the money the Stylus is hard to beat. You could try the Nikon AF600 but a lot of people say they are fragile. The one I have seems to work fine. Really for the quality and the price the Stylus can't be beat for a pocket camera.

The issues I have can be seen at the top of this image, It's not there on all images but dependant on how the sun/light hits the camera.
I havent done a test with a bright light source to really pin point it, but I assume (Ass, I know) that it's the lens "seal" or possibly the viewfinder..?

Check the bottom seal on the camera's back.

All of the really good P&S cameras are expensive now. The original Contax T is nice, but they cost $400 - $500 on eBay.

I will, I totally skipped the fact that the image would be taken "upside down".
I honestly havent had a camera with a light leak in a very long time.

Looks like the felt type material is still present but it could be without much spring at this stage.
The channel that holds the seal material is very thin and there is not a lot of it in there.

Kind offer, thanks.
You would however make more money off hipsters on the 'bay selling those.
I think theyre overpriced currently, even tho they are lovely cameras.

Indeed the Stylus can develop a light leak just below the viewfinder. Bu that would affect the bottom of the (inverted) image, unlike what you show.
Seeing as the lightleak seems to come from the edge of the image, I don't believe it comes from the lens seal.

Try painting matte black the case area opposite the bottom seal. Test does not even require a test roll. Remove battery. In total darkness, insert a piece of film across the film gate; close door. Leave camera outside for "some time", in "bright light" either upright or upside down. Develop film strip.

The infinity stylus / M:ju II is a bloated hype camera really. Yes it has sharp lens, but as if any other P&S would have actually bad lens.

I would say pick any fixed lens P&S and you are fine. They're all very good cameras. Do not let the price or "imago" affect your feelings.

I think I'll try to find a suitable material to replace the very thin seal with first.

I owned one since they were new, one of the best 35mm camera's I have.
It's more than the lens, they are well designed ergonomically and fit in just about any pocket.
The only thing bloated about them is the current price.

But if Olympus would do a run of them right now I'd drop up to $500 for a brand new one with a warranty.

Some cameras have 'soul'. They just feel good to use. The original MJU for some reason just feels good to use.
