Hello,
So I've noticed when my newly acquired Oly35SP is in full auto mode, it's only firing at one speed (sounds a lot like the 1/250 or 1/500th setting) no matter the EV reading or the lighting condition.

The onboard light meter works, and it very close to the readings from my handheld light meter. In manual mode I can clearly hear the difference in shutter speed at different settings. BUT in full auto the shutter fires very quickly.

Has anyone ever had this issue or heard of something like this, and is it a fix that can be done at home?

Thanks!
Vince

Just wondering if you have put any film through it to try it out in both modes?

The shutter speed will go down to 1/15 in auto mode. Make sure the A's on both the shutter and aperture rings are aligned. Also, are you using an MR9 adapter? Or has the camera been modified for a silver cell?
