A friend of mine who stopped shooting all film a few years back gave me a couple of rolls of Tmax that he has kept in his refrigerator since purchased (one of 100, and one of 400). They both expired back in 2000. Given the fact that dr5 recommends against using ALL old film, would this film not be suitable for processing in dr5?

You got the film for free, so, given the cost of processing, dr5's warning, and the likelihood of losing good pictures, why risk it.
