Hi, I just bought some darkroom equipment and got a bottle of Liquid Light photographic emulsion with the purchase. It has a date from 1994 on it. Is it worth a try or do I waste my time? Thanks.

I ve used some that old .. you might problems.
when i did, i had to precoat paper with gelatin because the gelatin was messed up ...
i've also used some that old and it was fine ... ( contrast boost )
I would not use it for anything important until you test it.
It could be ok (sort of ) and useless...

Thank you. I've just read another thread on the emulsion and it is perhaps just junk. I'll try it for fun some day.

I have the manual for the emulsion and I scanned it with my crappy scanner, if someone are interested. The instruction paper is not ordinary A4 paper so I had to do several scannings. Hope you understand.

The longest out of date Liquid Light I've had success with is about 8 years. I think 20+ may be too far gone.
