Old Havana

Enjoyed our honeymoon in Cuba some 30-odd years ago. There were still MIGs parked up at Holguin airport and there was no building west of the Melia Varadero where we stayed. All changed now. Highlight was a flight to the south coast in an Antonov A12 which the pilot let me fly for quite some distance. And these were NOT refurbs, they were decades old planes.

Incredibly nice and intelligent folk and the whole place utterly photogenic. Sad to see the state of Havana these days though.
