Old guy in Buenos Aires

Failed as a commercial photographer in NYC, then later in Cincinnati OH USA. Now I use a Rollei for 6X6 slides that I screen with a Rollei projector for personal stuff, or more recently, shoot street stuff-urban scapes with Sigma Quattro DP2 and Quattro DP3. I got mugged in Bs. As. in April 2019, they got the Rolleiflex 3.5F but the bums treated it badly, so when the police recovered the stolen camera, I tested it( there is still a good E-6 lab in Bs. As.). The lens stage no longer aligned with the film plane. Mark Hama back in the USA fixed the Rollei. Prefer the Sigmas because they don't cost much to shoot.

Welcome aboard! PhotoTrio is a wonderful resource. Mugged for a Rolleiflex....the punks showed "good taste" but no sense when they abused it. They probably didn't know that it wasn't digital and got pissed off when they couldn't chimp. Glad that Brother Mark here in the Atlanta area could fix it. I have a Komaflex S I should send to him.

The guys, 3 of them, probably would have preferred a phone. 2 assailants are doing 14 months in prison. Justice was very swift here in Bs. As..

Mark Hama is a great resource. Turned around the Rolleiflex 3.5 F in under 5 weeks!!
