The last thread was getting big enough to cause administrative problems, so let's start a new one.

If you have analogue photographic stuff to give away, or know of someone who does, please post here.

jnanian's original intro to Part 1: said:
this is a humble thread that is for all those kind people
who have (free) stuff ( film, cameras, darkroom stuff, you name it )
to give away.

HERE"S THE CATCH:

the giver-awayer sets the rules
how the item will be shipped ...

AND

the giver-awayer comes back to the
thread and quotes his / her own entry and
states " GIVEN AWAY "

happy giving away + getting stuff!

Free Not working/for parts camera

Yashica Lynx-1000 with case. Was thinking on getting this repaired but I broke the glass piece on the front of the camera above the lens. so I'm now going to just buy a new rangefinder if I want to get into them. Aperture is broken and shutter is sticky as well
So free to any person in the US who wants it.

Free: arkay stainless print washer, the type with the large rotating drum. I think it is at least big enough for 20x24. Fairly large and bulky but not heavy, would love to not ship it. Located in Seacoast area, NH USA.

Those are very fine high-volume print washers. I used them for years in two different B&W fiber print labs. Someone near you should pick that up.

I cut some film today, for use with a 3x4, from 4x5 film, I have left over strips that I usually throw out.
There great for testing your fixer, which should turn the strip clear, or developer, which should turn it black. Good also for C-41
So before I put these in the trash, does anyone have a need that lives in the USA, I will mail them to ya, send me a PM? There from Arista 200.. AKA Foma.

Free for the shipping: About 37 photo magazines from the 1930's into the 1980's. Mostly Popular Photography, but smatterings of Minicam (1947), American Photography (1980's), Peterson's Photo, some Modern Photography.

The box weighs 28 pounds and would qualify for Media Mail, which is slower but a lot cheaper. Coming from Sarasota, FL 34234 if you want to check the shipping cost.

Please send me an email to paulv (you know what) paulv.net . I have a photo of them spread on the floor that I can send you.

Cleaning out more boxes of photo stuff. Here is a stack of vintage metal film spools I will never, ever use. Free for cost of shipping in the CONUS (this should all fit in a small Priority Mail envelope). This lot contains the following rollfilm spools: (4) 127, (1) 120, (1) 620, (1) 616, and (2) spools of unknown size (see the picture). The wooden one is labeled Bayer Film.

EDIT: Screwdriver shown for scale, not included.

Canon Sure Shot MegaZoom 76. Needs batteries, and there's a stray piece of lint in the viewfinder. In good cosmetic condition, though I haven't tested it. It was given to me by a lifelong friend who bought it new and used it gently (though not in a while). Includes strap and original manual. You pay USPS shipping (PayPal).

I bought the following films fresh and have kept them frozen since purchase. I don’t know if they will still work properly. They are free for the cost of postage. I prefer to send the entire lot to a single recipient. They will remain frozen until claimed.

One 10-sheet box 4” x 5” Fuji RFP 50, expired 9-1991

Two 120 Fuji RVP Velvial 50, expired 1-1998

Two 120 Kodak EPY 50 Tunsten (3200K), expired 2-1988

One 135-36 Fuji RF 50, expired 2-1999

Please reply by APUG PM.

Update: This film has been claimed.

I switched my FS ad to free-to-good-home, but maybe I should also post it here, since it's free!

My current plans for a darkroom simply aren't going to be able to include a print washer this size, though goodness knows I would dearly love to use it. I make some big prints. I'm guessing not many darkrooms could handle this washer - it's not exactly the most compact form factor! But if there's anyone out there who could use it, I bet they hang out around this place ;-) Water comes in from below and spins the basket, which sits on a big center bearing. I guess the idea is to also provide jets from above, though they aren't built into this device. The basket is about 40" in diameter, with the tank being a little bigger than that to contain it. It's in fine shape as you can see. I really don't see how this could be cost-effectively shipped, so I'm going to strongly suggest it only be taken by someonme close enough to the Chicago area to drive and get it...though I'm certainly quite willing to work with anyone who wants it badly enough to figure out more creative transport options for longer distances.

Free: FED 3 body.

Beater, ugly body, but it does work. I got this from an earlier FREE STUFF thread to see if I liked rangefinders. It turns out that I don't, at least not the FED line.
Exposures seem fine; I shot 3-4 rolls with it. Free for the cost of shipping from Philadelphia, USA, 19107.

Pentax ME Super. Body only. Shutter responds occasionally -- i.e. the mirror seems to stick/lock up for minutes at a time. Unit was CLA'd by Eric Hendrickson just a few years ago. Free for the cost of shipping. US only please.

Nobody wants this? It would be a shame to just scrap it, but someday I'll have everything else out of the storage unit and nowhere to put this...
