Sorry Ray, the loader is already spoken for.

Roger

???

I have not been refunded... so unless you are confused, I haven't a clue what you are planning... in any case I am about to dump the record of our PMs on to the list for peer review...

???

I have not been refunded...

I have been refunded.

I am sorry that this what can only be seen as a kind deed, went sour.
In the interest of future conflict avoidance, I offer this summary and my POV.
Frankly, I don't think the deal needed to fail at all:

01-24-11 13:49 rtbadman
It's yours for the postage.
Let me know your zip and I'll see what it will cost.

Ok, well I was slow in responding, it is true, but by days not weeks,
and from the first PM till shipping was sent just 7 days passed.
Since the giver stated there was no big hurry,

"No big hurry if your still figuring out were you want it sent,
just wanted find out whats happening."

I felt there was no need to hurry.

I usually never have any trouble when there is no anxiety or "rush" involved,
but I must observe that on more than would seem normal,
I have had people back out mid-stream!

This is perplexing to me.

I do not see 1 week as abnormal, in normal friendly deals.
The best I can surmise is that
some people feel uncomfortable dealing with people overseas.

I sent a package to New Mexico today and filled out a customs post-it.
It really was not a big deal.
Perhaps it is more troublesome stateside - I don't know.

I really feel badly that this deal went sour!
This is a wonderful thread and, being a second class "member",
I feel it especially important that members work hard not to do anything
that would endanger their status/privliages.

Well anyway,
Sorry to rtbadman - for whatever stress I caused you
and Thanks to everyone - for letting me vent!

Time for a cool drink!

:munch:

OK, if you don't want to split it up I'll take it all, but if someone else wants the other things I'm going to just leave them in a drawer, or maybe turn them back around here. I'll PM with an address so you can figure postage.

Brian, I'm sorry that was claimed. I tried to find this thread to say that everything was taken, I was looking for it in the Lounge.

Getting rid of some odds and ends, some more odd than others...

• Ihagee waist level finder - I gather this is for an Exacta 35mm SLR. It is in pretty nice shape. There is some scratching to the glass at the bottom, this might cause issues with the finder but when I hold it up against a sheet of paper, the image seems nice.

• Minolta 110 Zoom SLR. From what I can tell, which isn't all that much, it works. I have not tested it with film, as I am not a 110 person and really don't want to deal with those issues. Perhaps someone else does.

• Olympus 35RC - Shutter does not fire, I am guessing that this might be solved with a quick cleaning with some sort of solvent by someone handier than I.

• Three 3X4 pack flim holders (I think) - I don't know much at all about these, they are in nice shape and include dark slides. I also suspect that they may be completely worthless since there is no more pack film being produced to my knowledge and they are a pretty funky size. Anyway, if you want them they are yours.

I have included a few photos for identification purposes. All I ask is that you pay for the actual shipping via PayPal using gift so that there is no cost to me. Also, if these items go out to different people, I am going to wait to ship everything together since the post office is not terribly close to me.

Still available

I had to take this to get the stuff I wanted, and I don't want this--Nikon Zoom Touch 470 Panoramic kit. Its all here, camera, pano mask, case, manuals, and the original box. I dont know if it works, no battery, looks very clean inside and out. It's FREE, just pay the postage.
Shipped any where in the lower 48 states for $11, out of country is more.

Happy Holidays

I cant believe noone has claimed this little gem. You only have to pay the postage and its yours.

Two photo books.

First is "Fra Chile til Guatemala" featuring the Latin American photos of Koen Wessing. Book is in good shape, printing is not the best but any fan of Wessing knows his work is often found on poor quality paper for extremely high prices. Here's a real bargain. About 100 pages:

Many famous Wessing photos included:

Next is "Georgian Spring" by the Magnum photo agency. Seemingly produced as a form of anti-Russian solidarity after the 2008 crisis. The book is beautifully produced with a nice textured slip cover and curved edges. It features the photography of a variety of Magnum names who went over to Georgia to take photos. They range from the Derivative (Parr), to the bold (Power), to the creepy (Soth). Some stand outs include the bits by Mark Power, Alex Majoli, and Antoine D'Agata:

I have no idea who, if any, of these photographers are using film cameras.

Unfortunately these are heavy books and I would like to charge actual postage on them.
The books are free, you pay the postage.

Center Column

This was going to be a project, changed my plans It needs to go elsewhere. Its a column from an RCA video tripod that the cheap legs broke on. Shouldn't cost more than a saw buck to ship anywhere in the lower 48.

How much is that? Is this an odd phrase a bit like a baker's dozen or a country mile?
