I mixed up some D-76 (powder 1 gallon) some time ago but can't remember when. There was only a few ozs left but look like root beer in color. Is it any good?

Probably not, and you could ruin a film testing it.

If in doubt, throw it out.

Likely not...root beer color indicates severe oxidation, killer of developer
