The (zoom?) lever on the Bolex H in that movie is terrifying.
I hope no one lost an eye...

This one, seems to be a Canon VI with rapid-cocking lever, body in chrome and black:

Yes, you got. (I looked at all Kodak instamatic camera pictures Google presented me, but it did not show up. Furthermore Kodak's german offer was different from the US one. First time I learn of that model.)
That model is sported by several actors in that movie...

What kind of flash is this?
I guess a 12V pilot-light (as for use in cars) fixed to a flash.

"Derrick" , episode 108 , TV crime series , West-Germany , 1984

Almost looks like the "Wink Light" that Polaroid pack film cameras used to use, just a little incandescent bulb fired from a capacitor (for the 3000 speed film), with a plug-in tiny reflector and socket for AG-1 bulbs for the slower films.

I still can't figure out which Canon EOS cameras were used in the 2002 movies Harrison's Flower. Anyone knows?

I am rather thinking of this light

I had mounted such in my car in the days of that movie. As focusing aid for scene-of-crime macro photos it would make sense being fixed to a flash as in that movie scene.

Yep, I think you may be right -- if not that exact unit, something very similar.

"Village Films" ???
A collectors item?

Actually, this is a new movie, Kodachrome, starring Ed Harris as a dying, curmudgeonly old photographer. Quite a few shots of him handling and shooting an M Leica. A chrome M4-P. Not all that old, I suppose, but not all that new, either.

It's available on Netflix right now. Damn. I miss Kodachrome.

I watched it again last night too ( it is back on Netflix )
his car only does analog...

From the British TV series George Gently Season 1
I don't know which camera this is.

Makes me think of a Retina. But I could not find such a model with central located flash-shoe and narrow divider between the two windows.

Looks a lot like the Retinette 1b in my avatar
