While I was printing last night, I decided to try some old expired (in 1921) Azo postcard stock that I bought on ebay a while back. After a few attempts, I got a decent print. The direction sheet that came in the package said to develop for 20 seconds. I found that it started to fog/mottle if I went longer than 12 or 15 seconds. I was using Amidol that I already had mixed up for regular Azo. It took a 5 minute exposure to get a decent looking print. Normal Azo with this neg takes 45 seconds.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share. The photo is here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Nice. You might try just using the Smith's amidol formula for enlarging papers. I've found that along with the short development time works with my foggy 1950s Haloid Industro.
