Just had a sort-out of my film freezer. I knew that I had kept a roll of Kodachrome in 2010 for old-tymes-sake......but I'd forgetten the other 21 rolls hidden in the depths of the freezer ! :surprised:

A slightly more serious query....my wife uses a vacuum sealer for meat and other food which she insists has to take up space in the freezer (which could be used for more film). This does actually save space...is there any reason for or against sealing film in this way ? I'm thinking that it would be a good protection against any moisture ?

Inside the rolls you have a climatic system.A micro clima when you would see this in that way.
So you should see that your freezer have
same themperatures die to devpoints and air huminity.

When this will work stable your films forget the times of freeze.

Because the chemical reactions come to
zero.

Example : Film stored 6 month at room
temperature, stored in freezer (-18degree Celsius )10 years.

Film age: 6 month.

inside a roll is meant as "unpacked" -
with the original packaging (boxed) of the film roll.
