A family member just ruined a 50 sheet box of 11x14 Ektalure G. :mad:

Where you teaching them to use a darkroom,the reason I ask is my nice and her daughter want to learn dark room developing and I want to be prepared.

No. It was in a refrigerator that lost power due to a surge. The box was discovered with some molding and immediately opened for cleaning!
 
To add insult to injury, I just checked eBay and there's a box going for $300...
 
I feel your pain. I have a separate freezer with a lock on it, not kidding, for such eventualities.
 
This happened to me and I lost 20 rolls of Plus-X. Don'r know how the moisture got in the plastic containers but the film stank of mildew. Now I always put everything in ziplock bags.
