Was printing out on 5x7 last night and had some really odd fringe show up on a few sheets, they were not sequential and seemed to appear on transfer form developer to stop bath. I scanned one in, and ideas what this is? Paper is ilford RC MG, developer was ilford MG developer at 1:9. 7 of the prints are fine, three look like this.

Well, it looks like fogging but as it is only occasional non-sequential sheets it is difficult to see how it could happen.

From the blotchy appearance, I would tend more towards moisture damage than light or chemical fogging. Was the paper frozen at some point? Kept in a damp place? Did any of the sheets seem a little stuck to another?

Cheers, Bob.
