Hi, I'm having some problems with attaching and detaching nova clips. I'm a first time user of one of these. Is there a certain knack to using them that I'm not getting? Seems easy enough to attach when dry but a real PITA to detach when wet without damaging the paper. I should add that I'm only using two slots seeing as one is broken. I'm developing and stopping in the Nova then transferring into a tray to fix. So I need to take the clips off before it goes in the tray. Not ideal, so what's the best way of approaching this. Thanks!!

I use the palm of my hand to push the button and release the clip.

Pay attention when you put the clip on so that the paper drops off the pins rather than being upside down.

I use three slots, but I also drop into a second fix tray like you indicate.

And the clip pins have to be clean and not rusty.

Post a picture of your clip so we can make sure its not damaged.

It shouldn't be hard.

What kind of paper are you using? The clips are designed for RC paper. It is difficult to fit fiber paper.

Take a piece of RC paper or an old print and practice attaching it to the paper in daylight so you get the feel.

Oh I got it now, never knew you had to push down the handles. Couldn't find instructions about. Cheers!

Be gentle with them. They can be rather fragile. I've had to glue the piece with the pins in it back on several of mine.
