I'm experiencing a serious backlog of undeveloped roll film including primarily E6 and c41. I've been eying the Jobo CPE2 for years but recently came across the Nova ANFP-D54 Film Processor which appears comparable. It may not be, I'm certainly no expert! I've been a lurker here for some time, and learned an enormous amount, and for that I'm grateful. I've read alot of positive comments about Nova Darkroom as a company, but didn't discover much about their processors, at least here in the states. They don't appear to have a distributor. Would anyone know anything about how reliable the equipment is (Nova, that is) and how it actually compares to the Jobo besides being considerably less expensive. Thanks in advance!

From the pictures on the Nova web site these look to be tempering bath with Paterson film tanks for roll films and yankee type tank for 4x5 film.

If I were in your position I would go with the Jobo - more flexible and you can do everything with the Jobo where you would need two models of the Nova. In addition the Jobo can do prints so a big plus

My 2 cents
