There are no more Sironar APO lenses on dealers shelves. That ship has sailed, never to return. But occasionally a NOS lens in box that was never put into use turns up.
Such is the case here. This came to me in an outfit I couldn't afford but bought anyways hoping to re-sell some of the cream off the top, if you will.
Nothing needs to be said about the performance of these lenses. They were at the pinnacle of sharpness before the digital revolution killed off the large format industry. The best of the best. This one is brand new. Purchased about 2002 according to the original owner who I bought it from.
No photons have yet been organized by it's powers. That pleasure waits for you the purchaser. If new ones remained (there are a few Sironar S lenses still at Badger,) it would be in the $2700 range. Realistically I'll ask less than half of that for this.
