November is The Month of Photography in Paris. Here's news for those of you in Europe (or those who want an excuse to come!):
Paris Photo, the huge, yearly, international photo gallery trade show billed as "an absolute must for photography lovers" is celebrating its 10th anniversay this November and will be highlighting a selection of Nordic artists! (hello Ole!)
There will be 106 exhibitors (galleries and magazine and photo book publishers from 21 different countries) presenting their "wares" ... (the very best photography from around the world!) and there will be work offered from the early masters of the 19th century right through to contemporary discoveries.
This year there will be one-person shows organized by 8 galleries from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden giving an idea of the photography scene in the Nordic countries.
Those of you in Europe might want to check it out. Whether buying or just looking, there's always way too much to see in a day (or two), but any visit is always a good dose of motivation (and gives you a good idea of the prices in the market).

Best,
Christopher
(ps- anybody want me to be "special reporter" for APUG on this? Note to Moderator: I'd be happy to do this, but you'd have to give me a letter validating the 'job' (so I can get in free and also get ahold of press images to post here)/cn
