Oh no! I've lost my Norah Jones CD!

I'm printing tonight and really need her! She's my inspiration in the studio and darkroom when I work on prints that require a little extra sensitivity and soul! Thank you Norah. I'll have to buy the cd again tomorrow.

My little stack of CDs in the darkroom is the most important thing !

When CDs first came to market I was a devout turnatable guy, and was appalled at the idea... until I saw two buttons on the player : REPEAT and RANDOM.

It seems to me that there is an instinctive choice which music is played, that somehow relates to the picture which needs to be made. I hope you find Nora quickly.

I bought one of her CD's a couple years ago on a trip to Florida. I listened to it each morning on my way to watch the sun rise over the ocean. To this day, when I listen to that cd, I can smell the ocean and it makes me smile.

Norah and the darkroom go hand in hand for me as well. Nicole, while you're out buying a new Nora CD I highly recomend the less well known but no less incredible cd New York City - The Peter Malick Group featuring Nora Jones. It's a little more bluesy than her solo albums. And whoever mentioned that Nora should work with Willie Nelson - she has! Also great stuff. Shawn

I concur with Jeremy's comments. She is a very genuine person and her story is wonderful. She was working with my brother in New York at a restaurant when she hit the big time. Took three of the staff with her on tour. I am very fortunate to have a copy of her demo session (that became the first album) as a result of that relationship. I play that CD eight hours straight while doing laps between here and California, singing (trying to sing) the whole way. Never tire of it. Her music is sincere, genuine, effortless, wonderful.

The music Norah Jones is definitely intended to be heard in the dark...

It also keeps you nicely settled...no rushing through things and making mistakes. Judging by my work, I think I should play her stuff more often...no, maybe continuously...LOL

I don't listen to Nora Jones, The only Nora I know of is Nora Batty... I quite like the sound of Joss Stone... currently in my CD player I have the Gorillaz album Demon Days. If I'm not listening to a CD I have the radio on, either BBC Radio 4 or the BBC World Service.

If it should be luddite you are forced to bring Norah and band into the darkroom to play for you. Luddites don't believe in recorded music
