'Developed my 2nd roll of film last night & find I'm all thumbs. The extra width of 120 (over 35) makes it much more flexible. I drop negs alot more - with the resulting mohair finish. The curl up so they don't fit in the holder for scan. Sheesh.
I read that laying the negs between some weighty books will flatten. Does this work for you? How long does it take?.
I apprecaite your sharing what you know here.

i usually hang then with a clothes pin weighting down the end to dry and they're pretty straight. If you backwards-roll them -- against the curl -- and leave them that way for a day or so they'll straighten out, usually. Some films are better than others. The Arista/Foma ones tend to curl more.

Summicron, Thank You for your kind help.

I do weight the bottom w/ a binder clip, so rolling curl hasn't been too bad. It sounds like I need to cool my jets & be patient for one more day while rolled emulsion-side out. I'm usually anxious to see how I did & want to scan right away. Again, Thanks for your kind help.

Film is like wine...
If you dry it in low humidity like Death Valley it will curl!
120 needs practice with scrap film in daylight and is more difficult than 35mm.

Some films have an inherently greater curl in them than others. Fresh Ilford & Kodak films generally dry pretty flat, but the likes of Efke used to have a bad reputation.
If you ever pick up a 40+ year old roll and develop it, even if it is from Kodak, expect to end up fighting with an uncooperative spring

The Lomography digitaliza film holder works pretty well for badly curled "dilm" on flat bed scanners, but now we are getting off topic for apug.

I just typo-coined a new word, to me anyway.
Dilm: digital and film together. Waka-waka

Use more than one clip or use weighted clips.
