I believe the SC would have S.C on the face ring lettering if it was the single-coated version. At least that's what I remember from when I had owned this lens in the past...

Thanks Xmas. The lens is MC.

As Richard said/wrote the SC has blue S.C letters on the face ring. There is also a blue sticker with S.C. on the box.
