From what I have seen so far all the photos are b&w. Is the whole site dedicated solely to b&w and were all shots taken on film? In fact is it a requirement for entry to be a film photographer?

Thanks

Yes, being a film photographer is required, and so is using a Pentax camera.

Joking aside, some look like they were shot on film, others are definitely digital.

There is some colour work:

Site says there are presently 24 members, but has no info on how one becomes a member. They're obviously looking for good visual storytellers, I doubt the medium — film or digital — matters.

Thanks I assumed that using a Pentax was essential hence I didn't even ask

I confess to being unable to which were digital and which were film Using the pictures as examples can you point out which were definitely digital and what it is about them that tells you this ?

The works by Pavlos Kozalidis are all shot on film; those by Emil Gataullin also appear to be film. Ragnar Axelsson switched to digital a while ago, and Paulo Nunes' portfolios are digital as well, etc.

Thanks for the link, Alex!

In case others haven’t made the connection, the Kinburn Spit - scene of Viktor Ratushny’s poignant photo-essay - is that sliver of sand at the mouth of the Dnipro river, bitterly contested in the last few years between Ukraine and Russian forces for its strategic importance.
