Sorry we do not let US citizens into our shop, I would have to find business in Niagara Falls work with you.
QUOTE=StoneNYC;1609846]Does this mean you could theoretically buy Velvia50 from them directly and then I could drive up to you to visit and pick it up? Or will they only send you Velvia100?? (Both are still being produced but only V100 is being imported to the US market, but if you have a special account and are in canada I figured it was possible you could make it happen).

Had to ask.
[/QUOTE]

Wait seriously? Is this some kind or weird law or a biased against Americans? Just curious, not offended just seems a response I wasn't expecting lol.

But I know you have a non-scan system.

Lol....umm, no, not for color of which I do very little of on film. I have a 9000ED with a glass holder, two different suites of software, etc. I get good scans from C41, but then I have been doing that process for 21 years.

Rob Ford has decided that the Americans are a bad influence on us so we are not allowed cross border business in Toronto.

Wish I could help you but that seems to be the law and as a true Canadian I follow my leaders advice.

I mean it's not laying flat... It's standing upright...

Yes that (upright) is how they sell things here e.g. milk cartons, think they hold them at 5C or less. It did confuse me, pump out cold air at top it (most) will fall to bottom be cooled and pumped out at top... not thermodynamically wonderful but every thing is to view. At night they pull down roller blinds.

Some shops have hanging strips of overlapping transparent plastic to conserve energy. You stick your hand through.

You are right to query though.

I didn't know you were supposed to store it flat. I have some in my film fridge and I think most is flat, some may be in the door standing upright. I'll check it, thanks for the tip.

What does storing it upright do? Cause the goo in the pods to settle to one end?

Oh, strange (I assume this isn't sarcasm). Thanks, good will to you.

Reala 100 is certainly gone and Fujifilm never published a discontinuing notice as far as I know. I find it hard to believe that ANYONE relies on official communication from Fujifilm for anything. They are the worst at giving out information that is timely and accurate.

I don't know where you're getting that from, Fuji always seems to send out notices about this continuations of all of their films and are very communicative about all of that, you must be reading the wrong articles

Hm...

Just picked 4 120 pro packs at the local store, mostly cleaned them out (10 rolls left).
Expiration is split between 2015 and 2016.

No idea if the boxes are new or not, well, at least I got hold of some, in addition to my 8 previous bought rolls.

I admit, I don't shoot a helluva lot of c-41, but when I do, I get impressed by the quality.

Japanexposures claim to have it in stock in 120 here: (different looking box)
http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/film-analog/160ns-120-5-pack.html

And even in sheet here:
http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/film-analog/film/sheet-film/

It is also available in 4x5 from Germany (Maco)
http://www.macodirect.de/films-colo...et-filmbr102x127cm-4x5in20-sheets-p-1434.html

May be that it is discontinued, but it seems to be possible to buy still...

Yes I can still get Fuji 160NS at my film store. Like yours, it's still found in the old box style. I guess this film is not a particularly good seller so stock is still around for awhile. Use it while you can. What's interesting is that unlike Reala, the price of 160NS hasn't shot up since it's discontinuation. Reala is now $10 per roll while 160NS is half that.
