Well I bought a Minolta 7000 and loaded some colour iso 400 and ried that.
The first two images came out fine then the rest were really underexposed. I thought it was the out of date film.
I then loaded some neopan 1600 b&w and got it back from the developers with nothing on it and a letter saying that something is wrong with my camera.
The film is pritty much clear on the black and white film.
I have put the shutter on bulb and fired it with the back off. It all seems to work and the apature is changing as well.

Anyone have a clue whats going on?

First question, since there are images on the roll of color... does the Neopan have an edgeprint or is it totally clear?

I was thinking your lens was stopped down all the way; it sounds like perhaps it got stuck after the first two shots. Try shooting a roll of film at all apertures set manually, to be certain. Also, try a different lens in the same lighting if you can, for comparison.

Sounds either exposure or film advancing. Are the sprockets on the sides of the negs torn up by the first negative?

sounds to me like the shutter isn't working ..
open the back and run the shutter on all the speeds
and see if the shutter is working like it should be ...
you can load a roll of practice film in the camera too
and leave the back open to see if the film is advancing
at least you know the dof preview lever on your lens isn't sticky,
all your film would be over exposed if that was the case ...

Tried a spare film and it's winding it ok the strange thing is the shutter is changing speeds as well.
Only thing I can think is the light meter isnt working correctly.
Went on ebay and picked up a Minolta 500si for £19 hopefully this one will work.
